Before you begin to complete the GIFT online application, it is essential that you preview ALL the questions. Also please read through the GIFT - General Information Guidelines - Frequently Asked Questions- page before you begin. Once you save and submit your application, you will not be able to log back in to make adjustments or corrections. The deadline to apply for summer 2024 is April 19.
After you submit the online application, a confirmation page will appear with a link to a web-based form - GIFT Program School Administrator Acknowledgement Form. Please email this link to your school administrator (i.e. principal, department head, headmaster, school system STEM or curriculum coordinator) to complete. Once this form has been submitted by your school administrator, then your application packet will be considered complete. Applicants will be contacted by the GIFT program within 10 business days of the date of the application submittal if the School Administrator Acknowledgement Form has not been submitted to GIFT.
During the application/sponsorship matching period, if circumstances require that you must withdraw from the candidate pool, please notify GIFT immediately so that your application can be removed from consideration.

Personal Information
- When applying for a GIFT internship position, you must demonstrate that you can legally work for a company without the hosting company's sponsorship of a work visa. The exception to this requirement is a company agreeing to sponsor your work visa.
- Full Legal Name as it appears on CURRENT US Government Social Security card
- Access to an email address available to you during application and internship period that you check regularly
- Experiences and skills including

- Titles(s) of published professional articles
- Professional development activities (i.e., presentations, achievements, recognitions, etc.)
- Expected teaching benefits resulting from GIFT experience and benefits for your students if applicable (Limit 100 words)
